When this gets applied, please "svn move xfce.desktop xfce.desktop.in" and save this file over xfce.desktop.in. Combined with the Makefile.am changes, this puts the full path to startxfce4 in the .desktop file for GDM, so that it will be found, even in a nonstandard prefix.
