Bug ID: 12690
Summary: references to user home directory in
xfce4-session-HOSTNAME:n
Classification: Xfce
Product: Xfce4-session
Version: 4.10.1
Hardware: PC (x86)
OS: Linux
Status: NEW
Severity: major
Priority: High
Component: General
Assignee: [email protected]
Reporter: [email protected]
QA Contact: [email protected]
CC: [email protected], [email protected]
Target Milestone: Xfce 4.12
all references to user's home directory in ~/.cache/sessions/
xfce4-session-HOSTNAME:n, n being the X display number are recorded without
using either "$HOME" environment variable or "~". When moving the home
directory to a new location this leads to weird problems such as xfce
loading only an empty blue screen, or loading only some of all the compo-
nents that should be loaded and that very slowly... I have already seen
such problem reports. Assuming that "session saving" is used, of course.
