alexxcons <[email protected]> changed: What |Removed |Added ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Attachment #7883|0 |1 is obsolete| | Attachment #7895|0 |1 is obsolete| | --- Comment #66 from alexxcons <[email protected]> --- Created attachment 7899 --> https://bugzilla.xfce.org/attachment.cgi?id=7899&action=edit patch @HYPERION I think I know what the problem is: For usual thumbnails, rename, move, etc works fine. A removal of the picture results in a removal of the thumbnail. For thumbnails of folders the situation is different. On first load, it looks like a copy of the "folder.jpg" thumbnail is saved with a different thumbnail-name. This copy is used for the folder. This copy is not updated on move / rename / delete. It will only be overwritten if "folder.jpg" is replaced by a different file. I guess this is a thumbnailer bug. It should be the job of the thumbnailer to as well update the thumbnail of the folder according to the file-thumbnail. (or possibly use the same thumbnail for both ) If there is no other objection, I would commit your fix to master and the 4.14 branch with the proposed small change. I added you as author, if that is ok for you (See attached patch) ? -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. _______________________________________________ Xfce-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://mail.xfce.org/mailman/listinfo/xfce-bugs
