Hi all.

Some of you might have already noticed, that the Adwaita theme has been updated
recently. It now includes a full GTK2 port, replacing the old Clearlooks
fallback. That's great in general, but seems to cause some issues with
non-GNOME DEs.

First of all, drop down menus do no longer have borders. This has been the case
with GTK3 apps, already, and has been reported upstream a long time ago
(without any real reaction).

Besides that the panel window buttons are looking stucked now, as there is no
spacing between and around them.

What are your ideas to handle these things? Is switching to another theme an
option (maybe Greybird, which seems to be maintained well and is accepted by
the userbase, already)?

Greets
Marcus
