In kde and twm, there is a huge delay when changing the mouse cursor to something other than the white glass cursors. For instance, in kde mouse over the edge of a windows to resize them and there is a delay. There is also a delay when reloading the white glass cursors after I mouse off the edge. There does not seem to be a delay when it changes from a white glass cursor to some other white glass cursor or when the window resize arrows changes to another window resize arrow.
