hi,
installed mandrake 8.1 (an oldie though !) yesterday. have a P4 1.6 ghz, 256 mb ram, KOB 845GL set, 40 gb hard drive.
there was some error during the installation of X. on restarting get the msg PCI Device 00:1f:1 not available because of resource collisions. have attached the log file generated while trying to start X using startx. had chosen 810 as graphics driver in the XFdrake utility as 845GL wasn't available.
please respond asap.
