You could just add a line in your .xinitrc that calls your web browser. Mozilla seems to have -height and -width options, but no obvious X geometry options like Netscape 4 does where -geometry 800x600+0+0 would make it fullscreen on an 800x600 display (+0+0 meaning "put it in the upper righthand corner).
