First off, I would greatly recommend upgrading to RH 8.0. I dont' think 7.2 had ext3 support yet.

Anyway .. did you install the Nvidia driver? You can go here:
http://www.nvidia.com/view.asp?IO=linux_display_ia32_1.0-4191
to download it. Make sure you download it and the correct kernel RPM. The install instructions on the site are pretty easy (I think you change the driver from nv to nvidia, and comment out a few lines in the XF86Config).
