i just installed xfree4.3 version on my thinkpad x30 (has a i830M
chip).
now the thinkpad keys don't work anymore..
it config is

i think that's the problem isn't it ?!

and i have another problem,
i want to connect an external monitor (crt) to the notebook..
it would be wonderfull that if the crt is connected xfree uses the
1600x1200 resolution for external, putting the lcd in off state, and if
the crt is not connected using nromal 1024x768 for the lcd..
do you have any hints, or suggestions..
