[This e-mail has been automatically generated.] http://bugs.xfree86.org//cgi-bin/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=90 Summary: using Xcursor cursors with Xinerama puts primary display into sleep mode Product: Drivers Version: 4.3 OS/Version: Linux Status: NEW Severity: major Priority: P2 Component: ATI AssignedTo: [EMAIL PROTECTED] ReportedBy: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
When using an Xcursor theme (whiteglass, redglass, handheld) in conjunction with Xinerama on my Radeon 9000, and moving the cursor from my primary display (a CRT connected to the DVI output with an adaptor) to the secondary display (another CRT on the SVGA output), the primary display blanks and goes into what appears to be powersaving mode. (power light blinking, etc) If I use normal X cursors, there are no problems. Switching resolutions via Ctrl-Alt-[+-] doesn't activate the display again, but switching to virtual console 1 and back to 7 does activate the display. I'm using Debian unstable on an Athlon XP platform with an ATI Radeon 9000 Pro, and I've encountered the problem with both Daniel Stone's experimental XFree86 4.3 debs and XFree86 installed from today's CVS with 'make World'.
