I've given up on getting the two ati cards to work and have replaced the AGP
card with a Matrox G450.
I have left the ATI pci card installed in hope of eventually getting a third
monitor to work in Linux.
BTW I tested the three monitor setup in Windows XP and it worked fine after
some fiddling.

I invested way to much time on this - now I get to invest time on the Matrox
card.

>From what I've seen there seems to be very few posting on Matrox cards vs
the postings on either ATI or nVidia.

Thanks for your response. I tried the RedHat install mail list but didn't
get any responses. I had actually given up hope of any help - obviously
prematurely.
