It's hard to tell from your screenshot, but it might simply be that your virtual res is too big for your actual res.
ie, if you've a virtual res of 1200x1024 and a physical res of 800x600, you'll only get part of the screen at a time. Does your screen scroll around with the mouse? You might want to look at setting/changing the 'virtual' setting in your 'display' section. Try pressing ctrl+alt+keypad '+'/'-' to switch actual res. The virtual res is set for the lifetime of the server. -Oli >===== Original Message From "Ken Copling" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> ===== >hello when i install x and try to configure it it shows the screen to bigs for my moniter and ive changed the moniter and mode settings and it doesnt change it a bit how can i fix this problem here is a pic showing the problem _______________________________________________ XFree86 mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://XFree86.Org/mailman/listinfo/xfree86
