Hello,
I have had problems using Red Hat 9 with a LG Flatron monitor. After
installing RH9, the following message is shown:
"Impossible to execute X server".
I can use the graphical interface but with low resolution (800 x 600).
Besides that, my Genius Netscroll+ mouse also presents a problem because I
can not see the arrow. Here is the configuration:
Distribution: Red Hat 9 - Workstation installation
Monitor: LG Flatron 795FT Plus
Motherboard: ASUS A7N266-VM
Processor: Athlon 1700+ (1.4 GHz configured)
Video Card: NVIDIA GeForce2 Integrated GPU, 8 MB (recognized as
GeForce2 MX generic by RH9)
Mouse: Genius Netscroll+, 2 buttons, 1 roller.
I send the XFree86.0.log attached. The sound board works fine.
