Well, as an Apache project, the name change is necessary in order to
avoid any legal complications due the dbXML Group owning the name
"dbXML".  Also, The dbXML Group is continuing to develop a proprietary
version of dbXML, so in that sense, dbXML still exists, but as a
commercial product, whereas Xindice is the open source project.
