i am trying to connect to xindice through a java object which is invoked
from a servlet on tomcat. no matter what i try, i am getting this error:

java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: org/xmldb/api/base/XMLDBException

all the xindice examples (except addressbook and XUpdate) work perfectly.any help greatly appereciated! thanks in advance, -nani
