For some reason I have been thrown off the mailing list since 29 March 2002. I thought nothing was happening, but when doing a xindice update I noticed loads of stuff HAD changed... strange
Anyway back now. Unfortunately, adding or importing documents in anything but ASCII is now broken! What could have changed to make this happen? The command-line tool code looks correct, in fact I don't think it's changed since I last looked at it.
But did someone maybe change something in the database internals, breaking the whole affair? Maybe the thing has switched to RPC in the meantime without my noticing, and encodings not handled right?
If no-one cat think of an immediate answer, don't worry, I'll start delving into it seriously, once I've suggested all that's changed since I was kicked off.
