Did you also look at XPath queries? I reported a bug (http://nagoya.apache.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=14434) about , and started writing test cases for it, but got started on a new consulting engagement and don't have as much freetime anymore, will hopefuly have them done within a week or so. But would be interesting if anybody else tested this.

I don't seem to able to reproduce any of the problems mentioned there as still being open. In particular, the mentioned problems involving using the xindice cmd-line tool to use embedded or server instances of Xindice running at various locations, don't occur when I tried them. The problem about tagnames (bug 13749) getting mangled when setting compression off for some collections is the only one I haven't looked at yet. Kimbro, what's the status on that? In summary, is any more bugfixing required urgently? All my namespace issues are resolved, except for two issues, but which are in Xalan, not Xindice. Just checking...
