Okely, dokely. I'll package up the patch for the Logger thing when I get home 
and then I'll start looking at Forrest.

to install Forrest, please take a look at
http://xml.apache.org/forrest/your-project.html

then "forrest site" or "forrest webapp" in Xindice's root directory and
you're ready to go!

What I normally do is:
- create the webapp version
- move the build/webapp to documentation-build/webapp (so that I don't
accidentally delete it when I clean my build) (been there, done that)
- I link the code from documentation-build/webapp/content/xdocs to the
directory src/documentation/content/xdocs so that I am working with the
files in the repository. (so that I don't delete the files from the 
build directory before I had a chance to commit them... been there, done 
that :-/ )
