the rule is: if YOU want to use an application, fine but keep the configuration files locally. If other users use the same tool, I'm sure they are able to set up a configuration file. If we find an XML beautifier that is Open Source and can be run with Ant, I would be more than happy to integrate it into the build process. Furthermore XML Spy is not running on Linux.
