I took a look at the (currently broken) webdav implementation and noticed that the Avalon framework was used for some components.
In the current Xindice code, several classes (configuration) could be replaced with those of the Avalon framework and I am very inclined to do it. It will let us focusing on the core business.
Since I don't have many experience with Avalon, I would welcome feedback and opinion.
