I wouldn't mind a vote on this one. I'd be in agreement with you: -1 on build.sh and +1 on getting ant running. I'm working those 11pm to 4am shifts on getting my own software up and running (using Xindice 1.0 still) and have precious little time to figure out why a build.sh script doesn't work, as I'm sure many developers do. ant has saved me a *lot* of time over the past few years.
