That sounds great. I look forward to the contribution.
I just sent a note off to Vadim privately, but thought I might
say publicly that it took me less than an evening to switch
over from Xindice 1.0 to 1.1 (switching from client-server to
embedded at the same time and dumping a ton of negotiation code
I'd written), and 1.1 seems to run a *lot* faster and so far no
glitches or problems of any kind. I don't have an application
that taxes systems (no million records in thousands of collections)
but I'm pretty happy with Xindice right now.
I was worried (as I'm sure others were too) about this project
awhile back, but a number of people (Vadim in particular) have
turned things around. The addition of Lucene to the code base
will have a very positive effect too.
