I have to add that the document was added using the XML-RPC method InsertDocument and it no error was returned and the doucment is in as can be seen from xindice.bat. I am using the Tomcat based version of xindice. Anyone an idea what could be wrong and what is different between the XML-RPC call and when using xindice.bat? Klemens
