I also must add that I removed the classes and jars from the xindice webinf directory. Instead I places the libs and a xindice-1.1b.jar into TOMCAT_HOME/common/lib. I needed to do this so my other webapps could access the xindice classes. I believe this should not make any difference...right? Finally, I set the xindice bin on the PATH and created the environment variable XINDICE_HOME. Does all this sound right? Could the db be corrupted?
