Disclaimer: please, someone correct me if I misunderstand; With the significant changes from 1.0 to 1.1, we did not set a priority on compatibility with previous data files...that does not mean it won't work. It would help greatly if you could attempt firing up a copy of your db, and letting us know what issues you encounter. For the most part, I don't believe the core has changed too much, so it may work out of the box. Make sure to check your indexes as well.
