I'm currently using XMail 0.66 and 0.67 on several servers (Windows 2000 and
NT4), 2 of them with 43 domains, having an average of ~25 users per domain,
getting fairly heavy usage on the mail server, along with very active web
servers (IIS)... In my experience, the performance and stability with XMail
is better than some of the "production" mail servers available for NT (like
Mail Max), and it's flexibility is unmatched.

Subject: [xmail] Is xmail ready for production use ?

Hi,

I follow xmail devel since a while now.
It seems very functionnal, and home tests run without (m)any problem.
Easy configuration is the main feature for xmail :)
What is the status of xmail ( i know it's still in devel... ) ?
Can we use it on small production site ?
Will future changes break existent installations ?
What are "frozen" xmail parts or features ?

How long for a stable release ?

What about security/performance/features compared to other existing mail
servers ?

Do u need help ? If yes, in which fields ?
