hi,

we want to setup a second XMail server that acts as fallback if the
main-server is not availible.

so we add the fallback as second mx in dns with lower priority. mail will be
sent to the second server if the first fails. then the second server will
have a long retry/timeout time to send the mail to the first server when
it's up again (because the main server has higher mx priority).

problem: how can we setup the second XMail server that it accepts ONLY
messages for the first one, because otherwise the second will be an open
relay and that is bad :-).

davide, do you know how to setup the fallback server right?

in my opinion it may just accept mails for domains that have mx dns entries
for the first/second server?
