I'm sending the mail from a web based PHP script from the
same machine but got the headers correct.

Here's a list of headers php is generating for the
non list memeber([EMAIL PROTECTED]).

-- Header --
Return-Path: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>
Delivered-To: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
Reply-To: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
Received: from /spool/local
by cmail.com with [XMail 1.9 (Linux/Ix86) LMAIL Server]
for <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> from <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>;
Mon, 02 Sep 2002 20:15:31 +0530
To: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
Subject: This shud not be sent to the list members of
[EMAIL PROTECTED]
From: Sagar Nannapaneni <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>
X-Mailer: MihiraMail (http://www.mihiramail.net/)
-- End of Header--

But this mail is still reaching the inbox of the user
[EMAIL PROTECTED] who is a member of the list
[EMAIL PROTECTED]

Actually php is handling the outgoing mail for
[EMAIL PROTECTED] to the sendmail script of xmail.

so that's my setup.
I hav not tried sending to the list as [EMAIL PROTECTED]
using a mailclient such as Pine or Outlook.
