Well, I don't necessarily follow that. I lean more to using
things that make my life easier. I don't care much about what's
beneath the hood. I guess I really am a Larry Wall programmer -
"Laziness, Impatience and Hubris".

I've never had a real problem with Perl on either *nix or
Windows. Mostly I can move them back and forth. I can just
program lots faster in Perl than anything else. I like to
program but I have to see results pretty quickly or I lose
interest.
