This might sound silly, but I realized that postfix was running, but thought that xmail might be using postfix as its mailsender. I did not install postifx on my box, and it is possible that the slacker worm enabled it for its evil deeds... So, by uninstalling postfix (how??), I should be able to get xmail back up and running?
