I'm not sure if this is relevant, but... is it possible to adjust the harddrive polling time of xmail? On observation, xmail (NT version) polls the harddrive roughly once every 5 seconds. I'm running it on a small home server which is frequently idle, so it would be nice if the harddrive could suspend during the night.
Along that idea, would it be possible for say, xmail to enter a cycle of idle --> mail received --> enter mail processing and polling cycle --> all events successful, no further tasks --> idle. I know this would probably break the "manually enter message in directory" feature, but since it's seldom used... ahhh, is any of this possible?
