It seems like other people are using my xmail server for spam (I can see the error spam messages still coming through). Which config files should I be modifying to just turn the relay off?
I've removed all entries from smtprelay.tab and restarted the server, but I can still see the spam error messages coming through. Thanks in advance. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Davide Libenzi" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: "XMail mailing list" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Sent: Friday, March 07, 2003 3:46 PM Subject: [xmail] Re: catch all mail box? > > On Fri, 7 Mar 2003, Giang Lam wrote: > > > > > Hi, how can I turn off relaying in xmail? > > > > I've removed all entries from smtprelay.tab, but it seems like my server is > > still accepting relays. > > If you have POP3-before-SMTP enabled and you're doing the test from your > box, that will succeed. try from one of the many online open relay > testers. > > > > - Davide > > - > To unsubscribe from this list: send the line "unsubscribe xmail" in > the body of a message to [EMAIL PROTECTED] > For general help: send the line "help" in the body of a message to > [EMAIL PROTECTED] > - To unsubscribe from this list: send the line "unsubscribe xmail" in the body of a message to [EMAIL PROTECTED] For general help: send the line "help" in the body of a message to [EMAIL PROTECTED]
