Toby was right I was running the script. I am getting output now.
although I do not under stand what this line is telling me as I can't
determine what is missing ??? it show server characters after the word
missing and nothing about where in the script they are coming from..

/var/MailRoot/filters/XM_Fprot_Filter/XM_Fprot_Filter.sh: [: missing `]'

Any ideas?
