This solves part of the problem. Local mail is now dropped to the /var/MailRoot/spool/local directory but XMail doesn't deliver it. I can get it to work correctly if I replace the /var/MailRoot directory with a symbolic link to the "real" MailRoot directory. Is this the best way to solve this or is there a better way? On a different topic, Richard Downing is no longer maintaining the Linux and XMail HOWTO. Does anyone here know if someone is working on updating this HOWTO (or working on any other documentation projects for that matter)?
