Hello there!

I got a strange behaviour in custom domain processing when the user is
unknown at the *custom domain* destination server.
In this particular case the destination server already states a 550 final
error within the SMTP-connection part.

Nevertheless xmail states error code -82 and *keeps on trying* untill max
delivery attempts have been reached. Have a look at the delivery alert mails i
got a lot below...

This does not make any sense unless xmail waits for the user to be created
on the destination server ;)

It is definitely an isssue in this setup when a lot of brute force spamming
takes place.
The large ammount of xmail spool retries slow down the overall performance.

Could anyone look into this please?
I'm using xmail version 1.15 on win32.

Any ideas appreciated!

JCBO
