Doing this could let legitimate senders in trouble when incorrectly = typing the destination email, because it seems the mail was accepted but is = not ... The problem is in fact the "default"/"standard" Backup MX setup : the = backup don't know anythink about the real final addresses. The ONLY way to avoid those NDR to be delivered (and receive of bounces = on these NDR) is to tell the backup MX the list of real accounts to test = on the RCPT TO smtp command, so the session will stop at smtp level on the = backup exactly like the primary mx. Some tools were writen to simply sync two xmail servers, the primary = using real accounts, the secondary/backup using custom accounts that redirect = to the primary Francis - To unsubscribe from this list: send the line "unsubscribe xmail" in the body of a message to [EMAIL PROTECTED] For general help: send the line "help" in the body of a message to [EMAIL PROTECTED]
