Hi all, I was just reading through the 1.24 notes and noticed the OutBind function: "It allows to specify the IP of the interface to be used when talking to the remote server."
Is there a way that OutBind can be used to tell Xmail to send all outbound mail from a specific IP on the server? (At present it seems that XMail sends all mail via the server's primary IP, even if the registry/configuration binds Xmail to a different secondary IP.) If so where/how do I set it up? Yes I have RTM (including "SMTP Gateway Configuration", Server.Tab/DefaultSMTPGateways, SMTPGW.TAB, SMTPFWD.TAB) but I don't really understand if it can do what I want or where to put the setting to send all mail out via one IP on the local server. Or do I need to wait for 1.25 (as per Davide's comments in Jan)?
