and on side note I have compiled xmame on an x86 box, and it fails to produce
anything
./xmame.x11 -l   ==> stuck ^C needed
./xmame.x11 -lx   ==> stuck ^C needed
./xmame.x11 -help   ==> stuck ^C needed

I tried to trace the process but I'm not competent enough to see the problem.
anyone can provide me the last xml.info 

I'm trying to set up a python script in order to track the rom changes.
Mac users need some tools ;-)
