I've been reading
about a lot of software evaluations and comparisons. I often wonder how these
evaluation criterias are formed. Do groups like the Gartner Group create their
own criterias or is there some sort of industry standard? Let's say I was to
evaluate some of the software tools that were mentioned for translating XML to
EDI and vice versa. How would I set up the test criterias? Are there books or
guides out there that are useful as well? Thank you in
advance.
