Hi,
We are NT shop with Oracle 8i DB. Mostly, we deal with federal client
projects. Typically, we receive 50% XML & edi files, 30% flat files, 20% web
forms in our inbound data. Our outbound data could be 90% flat files and up
to 10% XML files.
My company is planning for immediate technical evaluation of some of
the following products like Webmethods, Netfish/IONA, TIE Commerce, Acom,
Softshare, Redex, Sterling Commerce Integrator/Gentran, Biz Talk and Oracle
Tools etc.
Has anybody used any of these products before?
If yes, what is your views / thoughts on these products based on the
following parameters.
1. Any to Any format translation
2. Ability to handle large volume of data up to Gigs
3. Robust Security and Error handling
4. Product support and documentation
5. Scalability and Portability to platforms like NT, UNIX any flavor and MVS
