That's normal. "white-space: wrapchars;" is not standard CSS and
therefore, is *not* supported by XXE V3.2. I just wanted to give you an
idea of what will be implemented in *future* release XXE V3.3.
In fact, I totally changed my mind :-) and it will be an option, just as
you have requested it.
This option will slightly modify the behavior of word wrap in XXE.
- Screen shot 1 shows normal word wrap.
- Screen shot 2 shows word wrap with the new option turned on (only
available in the *development* *version* we are currently using
*internally*, here at XMLmind).
This option forces very long words (i.e. wider than available space in
the document view) to wrap.
This option is not only useful for Japanese and Chinese, but also for
Western languages. Imagine long URLs contained in table cells. In fact,
I've already seen this behavior in some typesetting software.
