We agree with you with the fact that the use of ``macros'' is an indispensable feature. We don't agree with you with the fact that this implies using text entities. Support of text entities will probably never be implemented in XXE. Please read the "Extensive use of the 'Copy as Reference' command" section of our tutorial (http://www.xmlmind.com/xmleditor/tutorial.html#id.s2.3) to learn about an alternative mechanism.
