Actually, I have to take this back -- hitting enter results in the <t> being selected, and when it is, the Edit menu's Split option un-grays and becomes selectable. If I pick Split from the Edit menu or the toolbar it performs the operation that the macro was supposed to - so the editor's split command still works, just isn't properly invoked by the macro somehow. Another thing that broke in 2.9 is editing element attributes - there are never any attributes shown in the attribute editor, so I can only edit the ones that I've styled with textboxes. The ones for which I rely on command-E are now inaccessible. I've gotten a request already from a new xml2rfc-xxe user for a place to download 2.8p1; I checked and xmlmind.com has removed the 2.8p1 files from the _download directory. Is there any way to get 2.8p1 back for now until we understand better what's going on in 2.9? Thanks, Bill
