My problem must be different from Bill's then - I have no plugins at all and
have a new install of 2.9.
I may simply have a format error or contextual issue or may be misunderstanding
the commands but within a text node, this does not work:
<command name="insertControlChar" parameter="\n"/>
while this does:
<command name="insertString" parameter="
"/>
