XXE recursively scans * the config/ subdirectory of XXE user preferences directory * and the config/ subdirectory of XXE install directory searching for XML catalogs. For XXE, an XML catalog is any file which has a name which ends with string "atalog.xml". Examples: "catalog.xml", "Katalog.xml", "my_catalog.xml", etc. See http://www.xmlmind.com/xmleditor/_distrib/docs/configure/ch05s01s02.html#d0e1653 In practice, this means that you can bundle a small XML catalog with all your other configuration files (.xxe, .css, .dtd, .xsd, .xsl, etc) if you really need such XML catalog.
