I'm having a major problem with XXE. Basically when I try to open a file in XXE (File - Open) my laptop crashes. Well it more freezes than crashes and I end up having to switch off from the button. Has anyone seen this before? This was working fine for a couple of months and broke suddenly.
I have uninstalled and installed XXE many times and this error won't go away. I've tried everything I can think of. I have Java 1.4.2 and XXE 2.8. (I've also tried XXE 2.9 with Java 1.5 bundled).
