Yes, I see the point. However, anytime I want to do some common task <x>, and see instructions of the form: 1. first setup foo<x> in file 1 2. ... then setup bar<x> in file 2 3. ... then config baz<x> so that ... ... I miss automating it and reducing potential for errors. Config files can be a pain unless the customization aligns perfectly with config parameters. Scripting support could play quite a helpful role in customization.
