Sorry but the answer is no because properly supporting entities means completely rewriting a different XML editor. Support of XInclude is now available in free Standard Edition and this section of the tutorial shows how to use XInclude as a replacement of entities (even for text entities): http://www.xmlmind.com/xmleditor/tutorial.html#id.s2.3
