I have installed xxe-std-25p1-setup-nojvm.exe and j2sdk-1_4_2_03-windows-i586-p.exe on a german language Windows NT SP6 system. Only one Java release is installed.
After starting xmlmind I can click on "File --> New...", most other functions seem to work too, but all Open... and Save... buttons do not work. However when I turn on the "url selection" in Options, the url selector dialog shows up and I can at least use that one. The open folder icon in this dialog does not work too. Please advise.
