We'll almost certainly never implement such feature. We think that this 
is the job of an intelligent XML backend.

(I have a problem in saying this because I currently have no intelligent 
XML backend to suggest.)

This could be also the job of an intelligent XML backend. However this 
is less clear in our mind. May be XXE V3 will have such feature.
